While sailing with my friend Tom we were passed up by America, which is a replica of America, the original winner of the America’s cup. This was a few miles off of Point Loma outside of San Diego Bay.
She was flying along at around 10-12 knots, easily outpacing us, and she didn’t even have all her sails up.
